Bullet & Barrel is dedicated to providing professional, friendly firearms training, a state of the art indoor shooting range, and a welcoming shopping experience. Locally owned and operated by Melanie Hammer Murray and Bill Roberts, Bullet & Barrel’s expert staff is shooting for something different as they offer North Alabama a clean, safe place to practice shooting sports with concierge customer service, curated firearms and sporting accessories, and lifestyle clothing departments.

Our “Guntry Club” atmosphere of “serious fun” is welcoming to new shooters and experts alike.

INDOOR RANGE

Bullet and Barrel is proud to offer a state of the art Shooting Facility to North Alabama. Walk-ins are welcome at $18 per hour for the primary shooter (100-yard range is $18 for the half hour). All of our lanes are rated to 30 Caliber Rifle rounds but if you have something different give us a call! We also allow shotguns with approved ammunition. Please see our expansive rental gun list below as well as the range rules.

RETAIL

Bullet and Barrel offers a carefully curated selection of high-quality firearms. We are proud to offer selections from Wilson Combat, Glock, Beretta, CZ-USA, Sig Sauer, Walther Arms, Bergara, Q LLC, Weatherby, Leupold, Surefire and many more!

We also offer consignment services, trade-ins, and special orders.

We also sell Class 3 items such as Suppressors and Short Barreled Rifles. By utilizing the Silencer Shop kiosk we can streamline the process to avoid unnecessary trips for fingerprints and photos. And the best part besides our awesome prices and knowledge? You can shoot your class-3 item while you wait for the tax stamp to come in.

TRAINING

We partner with some of the finest local and nationally recognized instructors to bring our community the best and safest firearms training experience. Offering basic to advanced level programs for youth, women and all responsibly armed citizens we strive to cover a range of topics relevant to your interests and your life.

GUNSMITHING

Whether you’re having issues with your firearm, just want to fine-tune, or completely customize your firearm, you can trust our skilled gunsmiths to professionally tend to your firearm. We will make sure you’re equipment performs at its absolute best.

Because gunsmithing is an art and every gun is different it is difficult to give accurate pricing without seeing your firearm in person. Below you can get a general idea for some common services we offer.  Please remember to bring in firearms cased and unloaded.
