Most of our daily lives happen sitting down—at home, at work, in the car, in restaurants, or in classrooms. But have you ever trained to draw and engage a threat from a seated position? Whether you’re in a booth, a bench seat, a rolling office chair, a folding chair, or behind the wheel, this course teaches you the essential techniques to fight effectively from where you sit.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
✔ Drawing from Concealment While Seated – Adapt your draw stroke for real-world scenarios.
✔ Engaging from Different Seated Positions – Learn the mechanics of shooting from booths, benches, vehicles, and more.
✔ Partner Communication & Coordination – Work through team-based skills for seated defense.
✔ Safe & Efficient Movement – Learn when to stay seated, when to move, and how to fight your way to a better position.
This highly practical, hands-on session builds individual skills and real-world problem-solving to ensure you’re ready for the unexpected. Because the fight doesn’t always happen on your feet, be prepared to win from anywhere.
EQUIPMENT
● Working semi-automatic handgun (preferably centerfire)
● 300 rounds factory FMJ (bring more if you want extra live-fire repetitions)
● Minimum of two (2) magazines; 3+ magazines strongly recommended
● PPE: Eye & ear protection, personal med kit
● IWB/OWB holster (see note below) & magazine pouch(s)
● Sturdy gun belt
● Cleaning kit & lubricant
● High-collared shirt, cover/concealment garment (bring multiple options), base layers or compression garments recommended for comfort when working from concealment holsters
● Closed-toe shoes required; brimmed ball cap recommended but not required
NOTE: For safety during live fire, bra holsters, soft side-collapsible holsters, cross-draw, Serpa, ankle, off-body, and behind-the-back holsters are NOT allowed.
