This 8-hour intensive course is designed for responsible gun owners who want to sharpen their defensive handgun skills and gain confidence in dynamic, real-world scenarios. Whether you carry daily or want to be better prepared to protect yourself and your loved ones, this fast-paced, scenario-driven training will challenge you to think, move, and shoot effectively under pressure.
What You’ll Learn:
Shooting on the Move – Engage threats while maintaining control and accuracy.
Non-Standard Positional Shooting – Master critical skills for engaging from cover, prone, kneeling, and unconventional positions (think “Yoga with Guns!”).
Engaging from a Seated Position – Learn to react in real-world situations like at a restaurant, in your car, or at home.
Partner Drills & Family Defense – Train for scenarios where protecting children or loved ones is a priority.
Concealed Carry Application – Work from concealment if you choose, refining your draw and response skills.
This is not a beginner’s course – it’s designed for shooters who are comfortable with handgun fundamentals and ready to take their self-defense training to the next level. Expect hands-on coaching, scenario-based drills, and real-world problem-solving to help you build confidence, competence, and the ability to act decisively in a life-threatening situation.
EQUIPMENT
– Working handgun (preferably a centerfire gun)
– 200 rounds of factory FMJ
– Minimum of two (2) magazines, 3 magazines are recommended
– PPE: Eye & ear protection, personal med kit
– IWB/OWB Holster: For safety reasons bra holsters, soft side collapsible holsters, cross draw, Serpa, ankle, off-body and behind-the-back holsters are NOT allowed during the live-fire portion of course.
– Magazine pouch(s)
– Sturdy gun belt
– Optional: knee pads
– Cleaning kit & lubricant
