COVID-19 & Event Policy
Aduro Design, LLC & Tatiana Whitlock’s first priority is the safety of its students. Given the current events surrounding COVID-19, we thought it useful to outline our policy for classes:
- No refunds will be issued for classes that are not canceled by Aduro Design, LLC, Tatiana Whitlock.
- Should the host facility choose (or is directed by State/Local Public Health officials) to close due to a local COVID-19 outbreak, Aduro Design, LLC, Tatiana Whitlock will reschedule an identical course at the same location within the next calendar year.
- Should the State of Maine declare a travel ban or should other travel bans be implemented by State or Federal authorities which may require the cancelation of a class Aduro Design, LLC, Tatiana Whitlock will reschedule an identical course at the same location within the next calendar year. No refunds will be issued due to a State or Federal travel ban related class cancelation.
- All original students who have paid in full will have guaranteed slots in the rescheduled class.
- Students will need to provide an order number from their original registration purchase for the canceled class in order to secure their slot in the rescheduled course.
- If students cannot attend the rescheduled course, they should contact Aduro Design, LLC, Tatiana Whitlock directly to identify alternative courses of action.
- If you think you may have been directly exposed to COVID-19 and have medical documentation, please contact Aduro Design, LLC, Tatiana Whitlock directly to discuss the possibility of transferring your course fee to a different course once you are no longer contagious.
We suggest that students monitor their health closely before, during, and after our classes, and notify Aduro Design, LLC, Tatiana Whitlock if they identify any health concerns that may affect their attendance or performance in class.
Based on guidance provided by the Center for Disease Control at https://www.cdc.gov/corona…/2019-ncov/…/risk-assessment.html, we do not classify participation in firearms classes in both outdoor and indoor environments as likely environments for infectious disease transmission.

TERMS OF SALE – EVENT POLICY
Tatiana Whitlock – Training in Context, Aduro Design, LLC, appreciates your interest in our programs and your investment into our courses. We take the working relationship with our host venues very seriously. Being invited to be their guest and teach at their facility is a great honor.
Bringing these programs to communities across the country requires months of logistical planning and a financial investment both on our part and that of the host range. This commitment to offering a professional and high quality experience for all involved means unexpected cancellations can be very problematic as courses often sell out early.
Therefore, we have a very strict refund policy that applies to all classes, lectures, seimnars, workshops and private lessons. Please be sure that you have read and understand the policy before enrolling in a class. If you have a conflict and cannot attend a class, please contact us immediately.
Terms of Sale: Payment in full due at time of enrollment to secure your space in the event. 50% of enrollment fee is nonrefundable.
Student Cancelation: More than 30 Days in advance of class date
If a student cancels more than thirty days before class the student has the following options:
- Receive the refundable 50% portion of their tuition fee via credit card refund.
- Receive a tuition credit in the form the 50% refundable portion of their tuition payment to be applied to a future class or products. (Does not expire. Not refundable for cash after issue.)
- Transfer enrollment in full into a future class as published on the TW calendar of events. Does not extend into next calendar year or yet too be published event.
Student Cancelation: Less than 30 Days in advance of class date
If a student cancels in 30 days or less before a class, that student’s tuition in forfeited and cannot be applied to any other class.
Instructor Cancelation: In the event that Aduro Design, LLC – Tatiana Whitlock cancels an event you are welcome to the following options: 1) a full refund of your enrollment fee, 2) transfer into another event, based on availability, on the current schedule of your choosing, 3) store credit. Contact Tatiana Whitlock with your preference.
Venue Cancelation: No refunds will be issued for classes that are not canceled by Aduro Design, LLC, Tatiana Whitlock. Should the host facility choose (or is directed by State/Local Public Health officials) an identical course at the same location will be rescheduled within the next calendar year. If students cannot attend the rescheduled course, they should contact Aduro Design, LLC, Tatiana Whitlock directly to identify alternative courses of action.
Natural Disaster or Restricted Travel at a State or Federal Level: Should the Host Venue State, or the State of Maine, declare a travel ban, natural disaster, or state of emergency or should other travel bans be implemented by State or Federal authorities which may require the cancelation of a class Aduro Design, LLC, Tatiana Whitlock will reschedule an identical course at the same location within the next calendar year. No refunds will be issued due to a State or Federal travel ban related class cancelation. If students cannot attend the rescheduled course, they should contact Aduro Design, LLC, Tatiana Whitlock directly to identify alternative courses of action.
